Two Email Marketing Techniques
When thinking about email marketing it is quick to assume that it is quite dated however it is still a cheap, affective and versatile technique for marketing (Herzog, 2019). Email is also 40 times more affective at acquiring new customers over any social network (NEW, 2019). Throughout this I shall discuss two email marketing techniques and how I think they may benefit my game.
Newsletter - As of 2019 there are over four billion active email addresses (NEW, 2019). A new slayer is an email sent to your audience about the latest updates on your product. It is a great way to connect with your audience as it is a good way to showcase off your personality when discussing your product. Almost 70% of millennials say that promotional emails help their decision to purchase a product (NEW, 2019). So a newsletter is a vital aspect of showing your product to people.
Personalisation - Email personalisation is very simple it is just adjusting your email so that it better caters to your audience. This can be done by including their name, some references to their life or location specific reference. This can be difficult however it is a great way to engage your audience that little bit more.
