Three Common Objectives Of Digital Media Marketing

When looking into the 3 most important objectives in digital marketing I found it a consistent set of results, them being. To increase customers (Bhasin, 2019), Reduce people who check your product without buying it (Ncube, 2015) and keeping consumers interested in your brand (Bhasin, 2019). Throughout the rest of this I will go over each of these.

Increasing Customers:

Increase The consumer base is the biggest goal of any company. The more customers you have the more sales your game will have. a good way of doing this is promoting your game to people you think may be interested.

Reduce “Bounce Rate”

The bounce rate is the number of users who visit your page without actually buying anything. Reducing this means that you have a larger engagement of users. This can be done through making your page more consumer friendly. A good way of doing this within the games industry is using multiple storefronts. Having your game on Steam, Epic, GoG and Itch.io means users won’t have any worries purchasing your product as they will likely have something your game is on. (Ncube, 2015)

Keeping Consumers Interested

Having a group of reliable customers who will consistently come back is better than having one-off purchases. As the repeat customers will maintain loyalty and are more likely to spread good word of mouth. (Bhasin, 2019).
